His Lordship makes a great return in 2025 with his immaculate expression of styles and mediums, in bold colors or monochrome outcomes for two main causes in 2025 - in honor of South Africa's Mental Health Month Awareness in October - in particular World Mental Health Day on 10 October 2025, and also for 16 Days of Activism for No Violence Against Woman and Children, from 25 November 2025 - 10 December 2025.Each composition is a striking visual representation of the not-so-simple world of mental health, sitting right there next to you and me. They are Our Neighbors. Our Friends. Our Family. Our Colleagues, Our Parents, Our Children. Whether directly or indirectly impacted - this series is expected to represent mental health, in a new sort of "Millennial Contemporary" art, which will speak to each of those that lays eyes on the art. Lord Caelthorne adds: "The most important part of this rendition in honor of World Mental Health Day 2025, is to make sure that relevance, story telling and impactful topics are presented to captivate and confront everyone who are affected by Mental Health - directly or indirectly, and in so, the proceeds will fund The Lady Isabel Foundation, for its Mental Health Outreach and planned programs"
Art With Purpose: The Enduring Symbolism of the Cosmos Flower:
Caelthorne Art consistently intertwines art with philanthropy, making for a series of appearances that reinforce a deep, personal mission. "Beautiful Depression" is not just a collection of abstract visual fine art pieces. It's a statement—one that illuminates the many layers of mental health its related issues and the often-distant effects on individuals, families, and our society. From the heart of each piece emerges a powerful tribute: the cosmos flower, a wildflower renowned for its resilience and lovely, simple form, making it a powerful and attractive bridge between the art, the subject matter, and The Lady Isabel Foundation.
The foundation has been founded in honor of Lady Isabel, Lord Caelthorne's beloved mother who passed on in 2023. Its' not just in Isabel's memory alone; it also embraces the vision of a woman who, despite great hardship, mental health struggles and self suffered from years of mental, aggressive, physical and psychological abuse, managed to bring comfort and hope to many. Proceeds from all art sales will not only make Isabel's vision a reality for others like her but also ensure that the lead characters in these stories—and by extension, those who read them—should never abandon the hope that Lady Isabel held dear and overcome herself for many years.
"Beautiful Depression" is not afraid to tell the unvarnished truth about mental health challenges. But what makes it especially deserving of our attention is its even-handed way of balancing talk of "the struggles" with conversations about "the possibilities of healing."
A Timely Unveiling:
The series will be completed ahead of World Mental Health Day (10 October 2025) which directs a spotlight on the serious issue of mental health. "The exhibition and auction date and time remains to be confirmed, but we anticipate that the collection itself will draw in viewers sooner. And, more importantly, this all ties into another positive outcome for The Lady Isabel Foundation being our benefactor—funds raised from the sale of the artworks will go toward The Foundation's initiatives and core pillars to assist with crucial and ongoing social injustice" Lord Caelthorne added.
Unknown of how many pieces will form part of the exhibition and auction, this series serves as more than an artistic pursuit. It serves as a call to contemplation, inviting the silent to speak, and a move to knock down the doors that stigma has built around mental health. His Lordship is not ignorant to the many other artists endeavors to tackle the same topic, however the exception of this series, comes in true Caelthorne style.
The core around both Lord Caelthorne and The Lady Isabel Foundation's existence, is to bring back hope for the hopeless. With passion, care and kindness the VIRTUS EX CAELO way. With "Virtue From Heaven".
**Beautiful Depression's exhibition and auction dates will be announced closer to the time.
